I found a set of tools that might work in this situation.
They are sized for different hex heads.
They look like screw extractors...but are 6 sided and slightly tapered.
The idea is to select the correct one and drive it into the rounded out hole....then use a wrench to turn out the bad bolt.
I got mine from KBC tools...but they must be available from other places too.
