I would love to have one of these with a modern lump under the hood. There's a shop nearby that does some pretty phenominal coversions; 500E coupes, V12 W126s that sord of thing. Supposedly they took a W109 and incorporated the drivetrain from a W210 E55. Talk about a sleeper....
