So, what do you guys think of the show/guy.

I like what he does on many levels. I find the show educational. I enjoy watching it occasionally, but if I see too many of them, I start to get tired of hearing the same stuff out of him about how awesome he is.

Still, I'd love to be able to hire someone that I thought was going to do as good a job as he does. I figure those guys are <1% at best.

But, he does do not only good work from a technical standpoint, but the work of saving people from bad contractors and poorly done work is a great thing. I've heard or read that he's actually footed part of the bill out of his own pocket a time or two for some of the work.
