This reminds me, I got a message from a contractor I used a couple years ago. He said he's doing some work in my neighborhood and used me as a reference. They did OK work, but not good enough for me to recommend them. It's kind of weird, the contractor and his sons call me ever so often like they're my friends. I've done my best to ignore them, but they're not taking the hint. I guess a guy with a 930 and other toys in the garage is just too interesting to them to get the hint.
On the other hand, I have a good friend who's a good contractor and he rarely does work for me. I guess he's smart enough to know not to work for an engineer
