How many people actually NEED to hunt to put food on their tables? Seriously - especially here in contemporary modern American society where there's at least one or two 60,000+ square foot grocery stores in every single town in America. Are there seriously people that are so poor that they can't find SOMETHING fit for human consumption in the local grocery store and literally have to go out and blow some animal's brains out, skin it and gut it in order to survive?

I have to be honest here POP, I believe you have a real disconnect with your actual personal impact on sentient animals. Anyone who believes food comes from a grocery store is living in a state of denial.

What is the difference between, buying a turkey at the grocery store, raising a turkey and slaughtering it, or harvesting one with a hunting license? (We're just talking about the bird here, not the remarkable amount of destruction done by supporting commercial agriculture, which is far more abhorrent than harvesting and consuming local game.)
