Regarding emissions, I'm in the same boat - 2more years. My car came w/ a gutted cat on OE exhaust, and I've since sold that for a RarlyL8 dual-out and am 'due' for testing.
I planned on "failing out" lol, but I may have ahem 'other options'. PM / email me 8-).
