All's well that ends well.
And sometimes you just get lucky.
I have been keeping an eye out for a low-mileage 997 Carrera S coupe, and just found the perfect car in Oregon. Built in 2006, it has travelled only 2,600 miles, and is in as-new condition. One elderly owner, heated garage, all the right options, various factory stickers still in place, A1 PPI etc. etc. It's quite superb really and I couldn't be more pleased. I am bringing her home today—on B roads of course—and it has been a brilliant drive. Here are a couple of pics from en-route.
