Using fog light switch/wiring to power oil cooler fan

Guys,

I am thinking of using the existing wiring/switch to power a fan that I am installing on the stock Carerra cooler. Does anyone see a problem with doing this? Any alternative ideas as to easiest way to wire this up without using a thermoswitch or cutting holes in the dash for an additional switch?

Thanks!
