You must have been answered already, or just figured it out, maybe not.
The rubber item can be seen on page two, in NickCG's series of pictures. I believe it shows at the bottom inside of the case in about the third picture or so.
The metal sheet looks to go between the three posts (screw receptacles) on the top of the assembly shown in picture 8 on page one. The cutouts on the sheet match up well with the receptacles. It might go underneath that white piece?
Anyway, that's how it looks to me; and I'll know soon enough, when I do this task myself!
