Milt, you are very perceptive. The competition does have flowers. We have some in pots and have azeleas that bloom 2 times per year and a bunch of crape myrtles in bloom now. The yard/grass is hands down the best in the neibhborhood by a long shot and I have walkers tell me so regularly. No love from the HO association though (farging ice hole bastiges!). I'm getting ready to mak my own "Yard of the Month" sign to display proudly! (I'm farging serious!)
