Most of the landscaping stuff I do is fruit trees and vegetables, really all of it, except for cutting the grass. Yard looks pretty damn good to me. I would plant bottle brush to draw bees, but thats me. Sheeit son, you are in Georgia, you best plant some peach trees.

How about gardenias? White flowers, very fragrant, evergreen, low maint, though you have to remove dead blooms to stimulate flower production. Crepe myrtles are nice, not too big, choice of colors for blooms, looks like you have one already by the driveway, maybe one of those trees with red leaves, or coleus with variegated ones.
