I strongly support drivers slowing down for accidents even when you are in the oncoming lane. EMS, fire personnel and LEO's move around accidents with the focus on the accident and victims. While we try to be aware of everything going on the priority is an obvious one.

Slowing down to a manageable speed is just common sense and will save money and lives. If it delays someone for 5 minutes, so be it.
