Too bad Mr. CO2 had to weigh in - the real issue of course is how sensitive various things are to CO2 increase. We are already losing certain plants as other plant types invade. The latter use a different type of CO2 metabolism and benefit from higher CO2 levels. The range expansion of some of these plants is a major effect on extinction risks for some bird species.
The oceans are also becoming more acidic, so shellfish and other organisms are having a hard time as they form their shells from a material that is highly sensitive to acidity.
