993 Carrera S is one of the best looking Porsches ever. You should so get one. As they are semi-collectable these days there are quite a few out there in good nick.
With the standard Carrera suspension the ride is not too harsh, partcularly if you have them with the standard Carrera wheels (though the 18 inch turbo wheels look way cooler)
