Blade Runner was a great film but no comparison to the book ([i]Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep?[i]). Besides, which version are you talking about? Theatrical? Director's Cut? Ultimate Director's Cut? WTF?

was a full-blown comedy. You just didn't get much of it.
There are a LOT of references in the movie that are just lost if you don't have a good background in SF film.
