New to this forum and looking for help on steering me in the right direction on how to find out what my car is worth! I know its only worth what some one is willing to pay, just wondering if anyone has any info on any one selling one like this one! I am the original owner of this factory ordered 1983 944 with all of the options possible. I drove to Old Lime Conn. after the break in period to have the turbo installed (best thing I ever did as far as a car improvement goes). So here are the specs: 31,300 original miles {mostly highway}, Black with brown/tan interior, polished three piece Epsilon racing wheels with gold honeycomb centers and 205/55ZR16 front 245/45ZR16 Michelin Pilot Sport tires (less than 1000 mi on them). Still have the original optional stock rims with Dunlop tires that only have 50 mi on them stored in basement. $3,000 invested in Sony head unit / 10 disc changer, ADS separates with custom sub and plenty of wattage {sound system sounds great even at 100mph with the windows down} is that legal. FYI 165mph is the top speed. Have other stuff that would go with it. I am just researching at this point, been on the Internet all day and found out a lot of useful info so far. I have seen one that sold for 45k and one for 80k, their were only 20 made with one in a museum in Germany, would love to know how many are still out their running.
