I do love bugs. My first car was a 1969 bug. I have had several different years and makes of VWs. My all time favorite though was my 1970 Karmann Ghia coupe. It had a 2.2 liter motor and would do a 14 second 1/4 on street tires.
Here it is at Baylands Raceway in Fremont California around 1983 or so. I wish the picture quality was a bit better. It was a beautiful car!
