Hi guys,
I'm putting my first Porsche up for sale. Not that I don't like it any more, but I'm getting itchy to try something else, and since I've got 3 cars, one has to go.
1986 911 Carrera
117,000 miles, verified by records.
3.2 litre, 915 transmission
USA car, last 3 owners PCA members
Silver exterior, rare burgundy interior
Stock and unspoiled except for the following mods;
Lowered, turbo tie rods, H4 headlights, aftermarket steering wheel, CD player, factory stainless muffler, cat bypass, factory short shift, tinted windows.
Tons of records from POs, maintained by myself (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) since. Top end rebuilt in records, compression and leakdown figures available (if I dig hard enough, they are all excellent anyway). Passes aircare every year easily.
Everything works except the airconditioning, as usual. This is a very solid and sound car that could be driven across the country right now.
Recent repairs- battery, tie rods, oil cooler thermostat, steering rack rebuild, transmission mounts, shifter bushings, ignition wires.
Asking $24,500 obo.
