If I was gonna ship something weird-sized like a transaxle, I think I'd put it on a pallet and band it down - with steel straps. Most any freight forwarder (LTL [Less Than Load] Shipper - Frieght Consolidator) could do that for you.

I dunno if UPS/FedEx would touch a pallet; but a LTL company would be just right. They might or might not do home deliveries. But I'm sure they could get it to the city where it's going, and probably cheaper than UPS.

I'd ask the same company about the TT. You could probably get away with just slapping a liable on it.
