Woofin'
Most sports call it "trash talk"...but in pool, it's called "woofin' " prior to a money match...this is when each player tries to get an edge...handicapping "gimme some weight" or merely psychological.
I just read one that did make me LOL! No, really...I laughed.
Pool players also have nicknames...
One is named "King Kong" Chavez...a pretty dominating money player.
Shane Van Boening, probably the best player in the USA right now, is so good he has no real nickname...people just use his initials...SVB. (Rule number one is to never bet against SVB.)
Anyway...SVB to Chavez: "So, King Kong...you want to play Godzilla?"
