I did the same project on my 79 last December. I had heard about how sometimes the injectors would strip and spin inside the sleeve, so to be prepared I picked up a full set of 8 used sleeves (perfect timing - 928Intl Xmas sale).
All told, I think about 3 or 4 of the sleeves stripped. As I was replacing the base gasket on the tubes, I simply used some vice grips to wrench the sleeve out once I had the tube removed from the engine. None of the stripped sleeves where in there so tight that I had trouble removing them, they were in there just tight enough though that it allowed the injector to spin and round the hex hole edges.
