Ivallt,
There is no one making a Carbon Fiber Engine shroud for the 3.6 liter 964 & 993 engines. I would take one of these in a heartbeat, it is purely bling on my race car but it would look great with my Carbon fiber Intake plenum. The other part I think would sell if designed and built right are CNC Machined Carbon fiber 3.6 valve covers. The factory used plastic and these warp over time and I think with some stainless steel impregnated into the Carbon block before maching they would hold up. The aluminum aftermarket covers are heavy at around 2.5 lbs each and we racers are always trying to save weight.
Jeff is correct in that if you focus on fitment so that your parts require little or now fitment beyond the home DIY guy you will gain market share quickly. In fact you should be able to charge a little more for your parts than the other guys if they fit right. After paying a professional shop to install a kit on my race car the cost of the parts was minor. I would have gladly paid more if it would have saved me significant install cost and time.
