I have stayed at the
JW Marriott Desert Ridge 4 times. Highly recommended even if it's the crazy hot part of the season. Stay indoors till the sun tips and sit in their fabulous mountain view jacuzzis (they have 3-4 of them riming the property) with your favorite adult beverage. Lots of great local eats within a couple miles if you want to venture away from the property otherwise the in house food is excellent (but of course pricey).
