anyone know anything about pedestrian river boats with jet drives powered by Detroit iron instead of the air cooled motors I've seen around at shows? I need plans or ideas on what to build. It's not exactly a rig you'd see around Long Island.
I'd like a v 6 or 8 in a 20-25' boat for the back bay wetland areas. I want to build it like it was meant to get crashed around at 30 knots and, if necessary, get repaired to do it again.
btw... I happen to have a 4 bolt v-8 chevy that came out of a tow truck in the early 1970s. Some say they had thicker blocks. The forged crank has been stored carefully and the block is outside in a shed curing.
huh
