there is a bleed screw at the top of the water neck at the front of the engine - it takes a 12mm wrench (on an early 92 it is hidden underneath the fuel rail cover)
verify that it is a bleed screw and not a regular bolt, and that you have the fiber washer underneath it
to bleed the system, with the nose of the car slightly higher than the rear, first make sure you have a good reservoir cap and it is on tight - then get the engine up to temp - then turn the heater on full hot and full fan - then crack the screw a few seconds at a time until no bubbles and just fluid comes out
