becareful around the gatlinburg, pigeon forge area. Once outside the immediate area, it is beatiful and the nicer cabins are awesome, with beautfiful mountain views. But in gatlinburg, and pigeon forge, there are so many people....it is absurd.

We stayed up there a few years ago, had a cabin for 3 days, and it was great, b/c we got all of food & drinks on the way in, and just stayed up there in the mountains. But leaving Sunday, mid-day...it took us 3 hours to drive about 15 miles. Stop and go, bumper to bumper traffic.
