Something like Trim-sol. You simply add a small amount of this type of emulsifier type oil to a jug of water and then pump it onto the blade with a small low pressure pump (like the ones that are found in a cheapo parts washer tank).
All of our larger horizontal band saws at work run this type of flooding coolant and the blade life is MUCH greater when using it. My cheapo band saw already has pan built into in base and simply need to spend a bit of time cobbing up a coolant system for it. Right now, when I use the saw, I keep a an oiler lying by the saw and manually oil the blade while cutting which helps keep the blade a bit cooler, but flooding it with a coolant system is the best way.
