I recently purchased some used wheels for my 993tt and need some help or suggestions regarding shipping from the US. I am not trying to be cheap but I would like to avoid as much extra taxes and/or duty as possible. They are Gemballa wheels so I can't avoid duty because of manufacturing location. I flat out refuse to use UPS. I have used USPS for all my other shipments and wonder if this is a good option for wheels?(low brokerage fee and could maybe declare wheels as gift or lower the value for duty?). Picking the wheels up at the border is also not an option (to far). Use another courier? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
