You do get used to the humidity, or I did. People that cry all the time about it, I would tell them they better soak their socks in coal oil to keep the ants from crawling up their leg and eatin' that candy ass right off.
You just do stuff early, not unlike our ameegoes from AZ when the temp in the shade is pushin' a buck twenty at tea time.
I have been in many a McMansion in the great state of Texas, seen pools shaped like the out line of the state, foyer that looks like the lobby of the Ritz or something. That is what people do in a boom, buy stuff, big houses. Couple of booms and busts last 20-30 years.
