"This program has beeen prerecorded." WTF does "prerecorded" mean?
The dictionary says: To record (a television program, for example) at an earlier time for later presentation or use."
So...some TV exec says "OK, we're going to record this program at an earlier time."
"Earlier than
what time?"
"Earlier than the time it's going to be aired, dumbass."
"So you're going to prerecord it, right?"
"You could say that."
"But why would you?"
"STFU!"
"Because the viewing public would be all confused by telling them "This is a recording?"
"GTF outta here! You're fired!"
"Well FU! I'm outta here!"
