I have no idea. I know next to nothing about these early weapons. My spoon collection is all 'modern'.
I bid on them just because I knew they had to be of some value; they were nice looking and well cared for. One had more brass accents on it than the other.
I dropped out at $3,800 (for the pair) just because I had no idea of value.
If you could send me to a web site with photos or explain the differences, I might be able to tell you?
Either the guns ARE very valuable - or Morris just decided he wanted them and damn the cost.
