For me Pelican 1750 is the way to go.
Regarding the lock, look at this just for the fun of it
YouTube - How to open Abloy Protec cylinder lock plus I don't think that will fit the Pelican very good.
I have some MasterLock padlocks ... remember they MUST NOT be TSA complaint!!
