Yes it does. It also has to be set into the channels prior to the glass going into the body shell. You can try to squeeze it in using soap dish lotion, etc. but it doesn't always work so very well.

EDIT: You might get away with weedeater trim line in black of a thicker sort than the (is it?) .7 mil. available at any yard store.
