Since 1972 I have owned just 5 cars. I still own two of them. I have had my El Camino since 1991. I bought the 911 in 1995. I have not had a car payment since 1997.
That does not count my wife's cars. Even if my name is on the title I don't really think of them as mine.
My insurance agent just left. Since it’s around 100 degrees outside I pulled my 911 inside the office. We stood in nice air conditioning and I showed him the car. My insurance for the 911 will be right at 250 bucks a year. The value of the car is set. No argument on value of the car.
I guess it helps to have three cars and a house insured with him.
