Started looking at rebuilt calipers but evidently many do not come with any pads, hardware or attaching parts. I’ve been told that the only piece I actually need is usually not included.
In most parts breakdown diagrams if a part is not available you simply go to the next higher assembly. A used caliper will be the next step up. After that comes a complete car. At least my wife can say that she has not heard this excuse for another project vehicle in the driveway…
Update: Dodged the bullet and saved my marriage once again - instead of having to buy a parts car and probably sleeping in it for a while, German Auto Dismantlers in Georgia came up with just the part I needed. Sorry for all the sniveling and whining - thanks to everyone for looking……
