I use and love this wood (gun in the middle) Sako .17HMR, the plastic one is .22LR, but after having used the .17 I've barely fired the .22. I've shot rabbits out to 200 meters and it has way more knock down power when shooting hares. Did I mention it's phenomenally accurate
