Nice looking caps, guys.

Just a suggestion to those thinking of doing it:
If clear coating, use flat colors
Paint the entire crest area black first (saves time in painting the antlers, letters, etc)
with thinned gold, flow in the recessed areas (may take 2 coats)
then paint the red areas and clear coat when dry.

If I do mine again (didn't clear coat) I'll paint the shield around the horse yellow as many are done in the catalogs.
