Thanks to all for the great advice--the trip was FANTASTiC and we can't wait to return.
Best city for us was Siena, very do-able, medieval, Il Palio, very cool.
We hit Florence, Lucca, Bologna (Ducati factory), some hill towns, Siena, Milan.
Had to level up my BCC (Blood Chianti Content) yesterday. A body could get used to that kind of living, fast.
