The F1 had a center seat only because they didn't want to integrate certain weighty things for crash safety. Putting the driver in the center avoided having to integrate those technologies that would have slowed the vehicle, plus it gave it an F1 feel. This is the McLaren answer to the 911Turbo/GT2/GT3/GT3RS. I would suspect this vehicle to beat the ZR1 around the ring but come in at around GT2 prices.
