Ok, just for giggles I reinstalled the decel valve. I got it to start working again by spraying a little carb cleaner in the vac nipple. Hopefully that won't gum it up worse, anyway took it for a spin and got a lot less popping, but still enough to keep up the 930 image! Everyone seems to hate on the decel valve, but I kind of like it seems like the shifting is a little smoother. I will keep it on for a while. Can always change it back.
