The thought crossed my mind. You never know what goes on between 2 people, or maybe more than 2 people. I'm not sayin' ..................... OK?
I hate to be nosy, but I looked at his house on street view. He lived on a lot that was huge and backed up to the 405. He had like 4 buildings and a motorhome pad. With the background noise of the freeway, he could have gotten away with anything.
Except..................... Long Beach can be hard on home businesses, especially those that are automotive based. He may have been caught and shut down. He may have had no business because of the economy. Realistic unemployment here is 18%.
However, he would have had a wider geographic pull and that would have included areas much better off. The rest of the story will come out eventually.
His and hers bio's were awesome. These were very well educated and established folks.
Edit: I spent a little more time and found that his main home business was Internet retailing of parts and artsy stuff. So, my above comments may be somewhat off base. He did have an active business licence at his home address.
