I just bought a 1974 914 LE
While going over the engine i found a wire that was disconnected from the temperature sensor on the intake air distributor. So i plugged it in and the engine started to run rough then stalled. I removed the wire and it idled fine???
Would a defective temperature sensor cause this to happen? Now I know why it was unplugged. Any thoughts. How can i test it?
