Saw it Saturday. Great movie, fantastic characters. At some points I actually forgot this was an animated movie. The main character is as good a bad guy as anything that's come out of the Sean Connery Bond era. Yet at the same time, "Despicable Me" is one of those rarities, like old Looney Tunes, which simultaneously play to both adults and kids.
Someone told me the movie plays on the same emotional level as "Up," though I wouldn't know as I haven't yet seen Up.
Anyway, just passing on a tip about a really good flick.
