How difficult is this to do? Classic 9 Leather Shop has a black cut carpet kit for about $400. Looks to be good quality and not just a roll of carpet that you have to cut. Allegedly, cut to fit perfectly. Here is my question. How hard is it to remove the old carpet, keep track of all the fasteners and install the new carpet? What sort of insulation padding or sound deadening padding do you put under it? Is this a 4 hour job or a multiple day job? Anyone done it? Pictures would be great of your before, during and after project. What recommendations would you make if you had to do it all over again?
