I just inherited a Toyota Camry from my Dad. At about 100,000km the rear calipers were rebuilt by Toyota. As part of certifying the car I was told it needed new rear calipers (the car is now at 200,000km.) When I looked at the price of the rebuilt caliper its cheaper than the cost my dad paid to rebuild them 6 or 7 years ago. I have also had to replace rear calipers on a Mazda I used to own. I think its part of the joys of living in the rust belt.
