My dad bought the rifle at a cop auction...he tipped by the game cop who took it from a poacher. I changed the cheap scope it had for the Leupold...great little hunting rifle.

i hate to pop yer bubble. 1/2" groups ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE to us!
the super duper match sans scope is used for 1000yd palma matchez. no scopes ever.
the hk sans scope is used for the arizona state pistol/rifle assoc. 1000yd military rifle championships. as well as super duper match. both are legal here w/out scopes.
if they dont put them thru the same hole...........................
1) i feeked up on my breath or trigger pull
2) the wind/ambient temps/heat of barrel
3) humidity/barometric pressure/earth spin/solar sun spots/common house fly jet blast!
4) the round. pretty doubtful there as we buy federal by the case of the same case lot number.
5) we FEEKED UP ON THE BUILD!
the SOCOM is a solid 600yd spoon with ghost ring night sites. its entire porpoise(purpose) in life is to tell bears, and bad guy murr-durr-ers(red-rummers)escaped cons, that they cant play in my general vicinity while camping fishing etc. and it does multi-functional property guard duty on occasion. (ALWAYS BRING ENOUGH GUN!) and w/25 rd mags on the socom.................well lets just say this: the multi-techni-colored FLASH will probably KILL THEM FIRST!
