its called "STRIATIONS" or striated. yes if you do not use a BUFFER. i use my buffer as i am a BRASS RAT and scrounge brass anywhere everywhere i go.
with buffer all is good. multi flavors of buffers to choose from. hk has (2) a clip on(mine) and a welded on buffer. these buffers also avail for 93 series and 94 series HK's.
