Howdy Folks.

I have owned a 1970 911T for nine years.

Recently the drivers door hinge sheet metal began to flex resulting in an ungodly noise. I inspected it and it appears that it was repaired before me with a metal plate on the inside.

I purchased a hinge plate repair kit but no go.

The only solution is to find a competent body shop in the San Diego area (where I live) who has experience repairing the early door hinge sheet metal .

Any one here have any recommendations?
