The first mapping from the Hartenjager 4 had a download error , it was higher in revs (+7000 rpm) a mess
so no readout from the first run ... the first setup was a new download from a map that was previous on the dyno at the same day (Hartenjager 4 replica) that has the same hardware set-up as my bike and the same as the Hartenjager 4
And that base line was less than 5% off what my bike needed/produced
The most difference was that the Replica had 1200 km under his belly and mine 4500 km ... that difference in km's gave a couple more HP over the whole range (the tuner said that the Replica gain some more HP when complete run in)
Difference at the final run after fine-tuning from the two bikes ...
So ... yesss, there is a possibility to copy a map from another bike that has the
same hardware setup ... and having a less then 5% difference
But fine tuning is like sugar on the cake
four previous tunings runs ...
Don't know what a Rapidbike III gains more ... (there's no need to chance ignition on the HP2/R12S ...
)
ask Afterburn ... he's got difficulties to find a good set-up (RB III) for his K
