all the carpet and underlayment is glued except the rear shelf area. The 993 has some wiring for brake lights on top of the shelf, to retain access I used a stripped stock shelf base which is screwed down, the shelf carpet is tucked under the rear and sides of the shelf base.

the side carpet doesn't need to be glued as it is held on all sides and top by trim and the seatbelt reels
